Food Service

Note

Due to a staffing shortage, Rockwood Food Service will NOT be available for groups for meal services until further notice.  As a result, we have modified our self-catered meal parameters.

Groups can provide their own food either by bringing in prepared food, ordering from area food establishments or using the available equipment located in the Recreation Hall, Dining Hall, or outdoor grills to prepare your own food.

Available equipment includes:

  • Dining Hall: Two free-standing refrigerators, freezer access, oven (training required upon arrival), stovetop, warmers, dishwasher and salad bar. There is also a large storage closet for food and supplies. Trays, cups, utensils, and bowls are available for use.
  • Recreation Hall: A four-burner stove-top, a flat top stove, a oven, a refrigerator, a microwave. There are cubbies and cabinets for food and supply storage.

If a rental group is going to use any kitchen equipment at Babler OEC, they are responsible for making sure that everything is cleaned up after use. Failure to properly clean the equipment will result in a $150 cleaning fee being assessed to the rental invoice. If any equipment is broken, lost or missing, the group will be charged the repair/replacement cost.
