Congratulations to our 2017-18 Basketball Coach of the Year!
Our 2017-18 basketball coach of the year is Glenn Goldberg. Coach Goldberg coached the 8th grade boys basketball team, The Wolverines this past season. He was known for his motto of "If you had fun, you won."
The team was made up of boys from different schools but came together to become friends, work together, have fun together, and learn the game of basketball.
"I was in awe of how inspiring and motivating Coach Glenn was," said one nominator. "His approach to coaching made the team both love him, respect his leadership, and really feel like a team. He coached the whole team during practice, but also managed to build in time to give individual attention."
Coach Goldberg even went out of his way to organize an end-of-season party and other team-bonding activities to make sure everyone felt welcome.
Great job and thank you and to all the coaches for all their work this season. We couldn't do it without you.
