High school students from Parkway and Rockwood (60 from each district) will get this once-in-a-lifetime experience to witness a presidential inauguration. You will witness the inauguration and parade as well as Washington D.C. landmarks that may include: Arlington National Cemetery, White House and Parade Route (Pennsylvania Avenue), Smithsonian, Capitol Building and Supreme Court, and memorials including Lincoln, World War II, Korean War, Vietnam, Jefferson, Martin Luther King, FDR and the US Marine Corps War Memorial.

The fee has been set to meet the district requirement that all trips are self-funded and fees cover the cost for all expenses. Limited fee assistance is available to those who qualify on a first-come, first-served basis until the funds are exhausted. The trip is open to Parkway and Rockwood students in grades 9-12 for the 2020-21 school year. Registrations must be submitted by the parent or legal guardian for the child.

Travel and Lodging Accommodations
