Swimming Information

Swimming takes place at the Babler Outdoor Education Center located inside Babler State Park. Swim times are supervised by a certified lifeguard on duty as well as BablerWiLD counselors.  Safety instructions are given before each swim time and participants may elect to take a swim test in order to be allowed in the deep end of the pool.

We suggest sending your camper with a back pack each day.  The following is a list of suggested items to put in the pack.  Please be sure to label everything you bring to camp with your campers name.

Water Bottle
Lunch
Swim Trunks
Towel
Swim equipment (goggles, life vest, floatation device, etc.)

Bug Spray and Sunscreen

BablerWiLD has a supply of bug spray and sunscreen on hand.  If you prefer to use a specific brand please send that along with your camper.

Transportation Options Summer's End

Two options are available to transport campers to and from camp.

1.  Bus service to and from camp will be available again this year.  A BablerWiLD counselor will check the campers in/out at each location and will provide supervision on the bus.  This service is included in the cost of camp and allows an opportunity for camper independence.  Camper check-in begins 10 minutes prior to scheduled departure times.
