Youth

Your Connection for Elementary Students

SummerLink is a perfect blend of fun and enrichment activities for children entering grades 1-5.  Each week, campers are offered presentations, creative projects, and field trips that will encourage them to use their imagination, laugh, and build friendships. Learning opportunities are plentiful, and fun is abundant. Utilizing school facilities, SummerLink campers experience art, music, theater, science, technology, and physical activity.  ​

June 1 - August 14   (no care June 29th week)

Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m.

Rockwood Summer Academy Before and After Care

Adventure Club offers before care (6:30-8:45 a.m.) and after care (12-6 p.m.) options for Rockwood Summer Academy families. ​

Bowles, Eureka, Green Pines, Westridge Elementary

Taking it to the Next Level for Middle School Students

In this totally re-designed version of the Zone, middle schoolers can choose from a variety of themed camps throughout the summer.  Pick what weeks suit you best!  For students entering grade 6 through age 13​. 

Registration is now open for the Zone.

​Camp runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.

Selvidge Middle 
*the Zone has additional convenient drop off and pick up sites located at Eureka, Stanton and Carman Trails Elementary

Not Your Everday Sport
June 1-5
Focus on individual sports such as archery, fishing, tennis, rock climbing, disc golf, martial arts and yoga as you’ll learn about the fundamentals of each sport and experience them on amazing field trips like Upper Limits, Summit Archery, and Busch Wildlife.
Wild About Animals
June 8-12    
​Calling all animal lovers! Join us for a week filled with animal encounters, Q & A with professionals in careers focused on animals, canine demonstrations, field trips and so much more. This week is for the birds - and the mammals, amphibians, fish, reptiles and invertebrates.   
​Thrill Seekers
June 15-19    
​Let your inner thrill seeker loose as you climb, zip, balance, and leap through big adventures. Experience a ropes course and zip line along with other high flying/climbing thrills. Dare devils are welcome but so are those who need a little confidence boost.
The Future of the Lou
June 22-26
​Explore new attractions in and around St. Louis and learn about exciting things coming to town. Join us in visiting Union Station and the new Aquarium, MADE and explore the future with a field trip to the Challenger. We’ll also be serving our community by helping others such as making sleeping mats for the homeless.
​Game of Life!
July 6-10
​Master the game of Life! Build skills that will benefit you for years to come all while having a blast. If you think that cooking, cleaning and budgeting seem like chores, you haven’t done them Zone-style. With trips and tours, pizza throwing and creation, etiquette challenges, and sew much more; you’ll leave this week ready to take on the world.
​Get Real!
July 13-17
​You’ll have a REAL blast experiencing challenges inspired by reality shows: Survivor, Amazing Race and Master Chef!  Enjoy some friendly competition, team building and learning practical skills needed for everyday life.
​Sports of All Sorts
July 20-24
​How many sports can you fit into a week? We’ll bring out the champion in you as you participate in a variety of sport challenges and field trips including a
St. Louis Cardinals game! It’s time to play…Your team is counting on you!
​You’ve Got Game
July 27-31
​Deal me in for a week all about games! We’ll explore board games, electronic games, card games, and strategy games. There will be a healthy mix of old standards and new favorites. We’ll also push back from the gaming table to visit an arcade. Let the games begin!
Beyond Brushes, Broadway & Brass
August 3-7
​Experience a glimpse of all that the fine arts have to offer. With drama, music and art as the focus, there’s something for everyone in this creatively packed week. We’ll experience live theater, go behind the scenes, create our own artwork, dance, and improvise our way through all the things that make our world more interesting!
Water, Water Everywhere
August 10-14
​How do you beat the summer heat? Douse it in water! Creeks, pools, lakes, and streams - we’ll dip our toes in it all. Whether kids are swimming, throwing water balloons, or sliding through the H2O, wet is what they’ll be.
